problem uploading to ftp

The first time that I uploaded to the remote site everything went fine. Now when I log in to upload more files, I get an error that says, "there was an error during copy web". The files that I was trying to upload are now showing on the remote site, but there is a question mark by them. What am I doing wrong?

Did you check your account and made sure the user name you are usig to log into our server via FTP has enough quota assigned to it? What are you using to connect to our server via FTP?
