Scheduled Task: Problem Identified

I was discussing weird behaviour with the scheduled task feature in an earlier post, and I believe I have indentified the problem. Note I am running a daily schedule. When I create or edit a scheduled task in CP and pick a time for the task to run (say, 08:00), the form successfully submits and returns me to the status page. However, if I click edit again, the run time is listed as 04:00 (not 08:00). Each time I change the time back to 08:00 and submit the form, and then click edit again, the time is listed at 04:00. However, testing has revealed that the task is run at the time I select (08:00). It seems to just be a display problem on the edit page in Control Panel. Can you reproduce this? Hopefully, it will be easy to fix... TIA
