Access update problem

i'm using microsoft access 2000 as database,
i get to this error message when i try to update or add some data into the database

"operation must use an updatable query."

i did shared out with full control for the access file but still can't solve the problem.

please comment.

is this at DASP or at home ? Make sure the aspnet user has full access to your access database.

yes all aspnet user has full access to the database.

but the problem still maintain.

You have to make sure the IUSR has write permission too.
