Email Forwarding

Is it possible to interact with a shared hosting account control panel to create email forwarders for email accounts that don't exist?

Example:

Create an email forwarder for account "account1@mydomain.com" which forwards to "someemail@hotmail.com"

But without making an email account called "account1@mydomain.com"

I can't imagine DASP allowing an underhanded thing like that. ;-)
(And of course I'm wondering it user "Unknown" even exists...)

It sounds like what you are looking to do is setup a catch all but forward it to an external email account. You will not be able to do this.
