Migration DTS packages to SSIS 2005/2008

  1. Hi,
    You will find a lot of posts I've made in the DASP forums suggesting the use of local DTS packages for many things.

    It's an awesome tool I've used in the past to sync SQL Servers across countries.
    Thing is...SQL Server 2008 changed everything, for the better.

    I've been waiting for someone to nail the migration down...

    Note: We do not have access to DTS on our remote SQL Servers.
    This is just a tip for LOCAL packages, which can include remote SQL Servers.
