Error: System.Exception: More than 1 data or log file in bak file

I am trying to restore DB and get above error. And it says in .bak file , i have more than 1 ndf files which causes it. But i dont understand that how should i backup that it doesnt contain more than one data file ... Pls help me with it

you should change the database and remove that additional data file before you backup the database.
