DNS question

So I got a google apps domain.

I would like to point a subdomain, let's call it 'project.mydomain.com', to a discount asp.net hosted website.

I have full control over my dns records, but I don't seem to be able to get through the registration process without providing a domain name different from www.

Possible?

You should be able to use a subdomain in the signup form - project.mydomain.com should work. Are you getting an error? What does it say?
