Are there any limits to the number of SMTP emails (one per recipient) that can be snet out?
I know multiple questions on a post is a no-no but - is there an easy way to get from the forum or the support portal back to the main site?

Currently DASP imposes the following limits for mass emailing: 5000 emails per account per 24 hours or 1000 emails per account per hour.
Please refer to our service usage policy page of our site http://discountasp.net/userpolicy_usage.aspx for the most up to date information about mass emailing.

Just curious why you think a link to the main site from the support portal or the forum would be useful?

Every time (with the exception of right now) I have been on either the Forum or the Support Portal I have wanted to get information from the main site. I would think that to be common for a pre-sales user. Perhaps the vast majority of users of the forum and of the support portal are existing customers who no longer need to go back to the main site to get pre-sales info.
I think you would want to make it as easy for pre-sales candidates to get additional info as you possibly could.
Along similar lines - the default for new postings should be to receive an email response - but perhpas that is an option in account setup that I bypassed. It is disconcerting to ask a pre-sales question and wonder why there is no email followup. The dropdown for the email notification is not readily apparent.

Any recommendations on providers for bulk mail handling? We may need to send tens of thousands of emails per day. One of our platforms has about one million users!
ConstantContact (http://www.constantcontact.com/index.jsp) probably has the best interface for managing large numbers of users, and their service is first class.

People are sensitive about their email boxes, and it's best not to send them any messages they may not want.
Thanks for the feedback though, I'll see if there's something we can do to accommodate new users a little better.
