I have www.webguild.com hosted by DiscountASP.net. I'd like to set up some additional Host Header records (Site Bindings) in IIS Manager to point to the same website. This would allow me to use other subdomains like something.webguild.com.
Is this what the subdomain addon is for? This seems to require a $5 monthly fee for a single setting change, is that right?
Thanks,
Gary Davis

You can use the Domain Pointer [http://support.discountasp.net/KB/a131/domain-pointer-manager.aspx] to add extra domains to your hosting account (basically host headers) or you can use the Unlimited Subdomains [Wildcard] addon by going to the Order Addons page in your Control Panel.

Thanks, Tam. It appears there is no way to do this without an additional fee.
For now, I added a DNS "A" record to point to my home server which will host the pages. There is no fee for that. Since my home server has a dynamic IP, if it changes I use your Customer API to update the IP in the DNS "A" record.
