I am trying to use Betsie (BBC Education's free to use Perl script) to make my website accessible to people with visual impairments.
What Betsie does is to parse your website into a text-only version of your website dynamically. It is used by BBC and a lot of other websites.
When I run Betsie on discounasp, it works, as in it runs ok. But...It just can't parse my website which is on the same discountasp server.
If you try the same script and parse external sites, it works perfectly. Infact I even used a seperate Betsie parser hosted on a completely seperate server and tried parsing my website and it fails in exactly the same way.
Even if my website has the most simplest of HTML, it still fails and from what I have seen/heard from other Betsie users, it seems that there is something on discountasp.net that stops betsie from parsing my website.
I am wondering if anyone here has had the same problem and if they managed to get it working.
