do your hosting plans include a static ip address or do they all have a shared ip address? i saw that your ssl option includes that - i probably would have to have an ssl address anyways. Do you have an example of a page with the free ssl cert on it? I'm currently using geotrust with a page badge and wanted to know the difference between that and what the free one is that comes with your $10 a month ssl option. I'm guessing then for $360 a year you'd get both a website and a free ssl and a static ip and sql server 2008 - do you have a package price that includes all of them and reporting services for a cheaper price?

Here's some information about the RapidSSL certificate. That's the one you can get from us for no extra charge when you order the SSL add-on. You can see the seal on that page.

I'm afraid we do not offer any discounted bundles or packages.

    ssl cert

firefox says "Warning contains unauthenticated content" on the padlock on the lower right on the rapidssl cert you referred me to at https://www.rapidssl.com/test/rapidssl.htm
is this how all of your free rapidssl certs look in firefox?
i don't want users to think it's bad to enter data - esp. credit card info - in the fields on an ecommerce site

I don't get any errors or warnings in Firefox on any page of the rapidssl.com site. Not sure what you're seeing or why you're seeing it.

The free certificate is a standard SSL cert, it doesn't work any differently - technically - than any other cert, regardless or cost. They all do the same thing on the server side.
