Can you confirm my understanding is correct?

I have read through a couple of posts that seem to deal with my question but would just like to be sure.

My problem:
I have a press release portal for the print industry, supporting a PR company. The site runs on a linux box, but I would like to use "Gallery Server Pro", which needs .asp hosting, as a gallery for the site.

If:
I set up an account here, then load up Gallery Server Pro all I need to do is have a sub domain (ie gallery.mydomain.com) for the first site which points to the hosting space here. Am I correct in my undertsanding?

Hi,
You can use several methods here to do that but you will also need to add Unlimited Sub-domains to your account.
You can do it in code without adding sub-domains but only to a folder, not as you illustrated above.

Thanks for the response. I already have the domain and the sub domain set up on another server. So if I add the unlimited sub-domain package I can then point the sub domain to space on your server?

You mentioned there were a couple of options to have the sub-domain from the other server point to the Gallery Server Pro on one of your server accounts. Which do you think is the best option? I am happy to try any method.

Hi,
DASP has articles in the on-line KB for code redirection and DASP supports the IIS7 URL Rewrite, which you can use right from your own system with the IIS7 Manager.
If you have not used that tool it's very slick and there are lots of articles for each feature over at iis.net, except of course the modules that were written in-house at DASP.
