Where is the From email address located?

Where is the From email address located?

I've just taken over a web site and I went in and changed all the email address of the external person and now the email doesn't work in side our company. Our tech guys says that the from and to email can not be the same and it get block and is designed to avoid spam! Since I've added my email address in about 50 places, I wondering when I hit the form button where does the "From" sender email sender get populated from? Where on the web form or where on discountasp.

it is somewhere in your code

I think you are correct, but for some reason I was thinking it was coming from the database.
