MySQL is back! Bigger and better than ever before.

As you may know, we discontinued the creation of new MySQL databases more than two and a half years ago. We did that because the overall demand for MySQL was very low. But the increasing popularity of a number of MySQL-only applications has created renewed demand, so we are introducing new MySQL servers and opening up the service to all of our users again.

The new specs:

2,000 MB disk space quota!

Create an unlimited number of MySQL databases at no extra charge!

The new MySQL servers are running version 5.1.50 (the legacy MySQL server has not been updated in some time and is still running MySQL version 4.1).

If you currently use MySQL on the old server, watch for an email from us later today that explains how this affects you.
