  3. There are 2 issues occuring here. The first issue is that you drop the connection string name 'LocalSQLServer' but your mmbership/role provider is using 'LocalSQLServer'. Try changing the line...

    [connectionStringName="LocalSqlServer" applicationName="/" ] to...

    connectionStringName="QuotesConnectionString1" applicationName="/"

    The next issue is your connection string. You are not passing the correct values. What are you typing in for the password? Make sure it is not asterisks '*******'. I suggest also logging into your hosting control panel and under MS SQL 2008/Login Manager update the password for SQL2008_644273_msjd_user. You will need to make sure that you change the password of your connection string to match what you inputted in the Login Manager.

    If this still doesn't work, open a ticket to our support department. Request that they verified the GUID is correct for your database.

  4. Thank you for your help. but this
    connectionStringName="QuotesConnectionString1" applicationName="/"

    where i should i do it . Anyway, this is what i got

  5. I don't think you are inputting the right password on your connection string. You need to make sure that the password is inputted correctly.

    Run this test in MS DOS

    C:\>sqlcmd -S sql2k802.discountasp.net -U [db login] -P [password of db login]

    Replace the values [db login] and [password of db login] with the actual valuse without the brackets. If you are not getting a return key 1> then it shows that you are not typing the correct db login and password credentials. This is why your application is failiing because db credentials you are typing is incorrect.

  6. Login failed for user 'SQL2K802\Guest'.
