These are instructions for performing a base install of nopCommerce 2.0+ which was rewritten using the Microsoft MVC engine. Requirements: ASP.NET 4.0 Framework, SQL2005 or higher database 1) Download nopCommerce at http://www.nopcommerce.com/downloads.aspx (For this tutorial, I used the nopCommerce 2.10 (no source) zip file) 2) Extract the contents of the zip file on your local computer. 3) Upload the files to your hosting account using an FTP client. If you place the files in a subdirectory, make sure you mark that subdirectory as a Web Application using the tool in your Control Panel: https://my.discountasp.net/webapplication-tool.aspx 4) Navigate to the installation URL (e.g. http://www.mydomain.com or http://www.mydomain.com/subdirectory) 5) Enter the values requested (i.e. supply your SQL Server connection credentials found in your Control Panel: https://my.discountasp.net/mssql.aspx) 6) Click the Install button.
