I have a new Droid 3 (my first smart phone) and am having trouble getting email to work. Here's what I've done. 1) Opened email app and entered my Smarter mail account ([email protected]), password and unchecked "Auto config" to set up manually 2) Incoming server - selected POP, and entered pop3.smith-mccann.com as the server, & selected "advanced" to verify the port (110) and that authentication is "password" 3) Outgoing server - entered smtp.smith-mccann.com Clicked OK for all to finish. When I try to get my email, I get an error that the phone cannot connect to smtp.smith-mccann.com. I set up my smarter mail on my NookColor (also an Android device) and it works fine but I cannot get it to work on my phone.
