Hello to Everyone, My website address is http://navalshipcode.org/ . I have it for a few years. Recently I did some superficial update to a few webpages with Vistual Studio 2008. I then clicked "Publish Web Site". A Windows Security dialog popup, it says "The server navalshipcode.org at navalshipcode.org requires a username and password. Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)." So I keep key-in the username and password to the dialog and click "OK". The dialog just keeps poping up. After many many times, I click "Cancel". And the update of the website did not get publish. My website had moved to another server a few months ago. I wonder do I need to set something in my control panel? My website is still not got updated. I need to solve out this problem ASAP. I believe you may have migrated down to our IIS 6 server correct? If this is the case then web deploy will no longer work on our IIS 6 server. You will need to use FTP in your Visual Studio program.
