Hi, I submitted a ticket to support about the following issue and received a response to post on this forum. Anyone have any additional information? SmarterMail does not work on an iPad...email can be read, but can't be replied to. Text can't be typed in the window which opens when trying to reply to an email. It seems like this is a common problem and wondering if there's any upcoming resolution.
If there are compatibility issues between the iPad and our current version of SmarterMail, there isn't much that we can do to immediately solve the problem. Since we support IMAP, the best workaround may be to add an account to your iPad so you can check and respond to messages directly through Mail.
Hi roxannez, When you get your email working on your IPad, would you mind posting some instructions for our forum users, just in case they run in to the same issues or simply need some step by step info?
Essentially, Ipad is the same as iPhone as they both are running on iOS platform. I have personally tested smarter mail on iPhone and it Sync correctly, haven't got any issue with it.
