In ASP and ASP.NET your SVG files need to be well formed to work, same as XML rules. 15 Seconds has an article on using them in ASP and ASP.NET... http://www.15seconds.com/issue/030630.htm
Hi folks, I'm a new user here. Searched forumsfor "SVG"...no hits. Seems strange. As a developer, I'm having trouble displaying SVGs in my aspx pages. I just get a blank area when my page comes up. Has anyone else run into this issue? Better yet, could someone share a solution with me? Thank you for your time, Rick
Thanks for your reply. I can't tell you how many times I've seen that article referenced...and other folkssaying they can't make the examples work, including me. Respectfully, I don't need instructions about well-formed xml & links to the svg specification. Everything I've developed works outside an ASPX page. That is, the xml and svg output is viewable without errors in other utilities. Since I need this on my DAN-hosted website, I am asking here: Has anyone succeeded at displaying an SVG in an ASPX page on their website? If you have, would you please be so kind as to write to me with the code or HTML you use to accomplish this? I really need to talk to someone about this soon. Thank you, Rick
