  1. Im using Visual Web developer 2008 and watching a tutorial a guy clicked a few text boxes and was able to align them both with each other. Now I find it very difficult to find the commands to select more then one item and on the tutorial the guy didn't mention how he did it. Does anyone know how you do this to be able to use the layout tools and align things. ?

  2. For something like that the most accurate method, I think anyway, is to select them in code then change back to design.
But you can select objects like text boxes by:
    1. Selecting the first one with your mouse.
    2. Holding Shift.
    3. Pressing the appropriate Scroll key. (Arrow keys on your keyboard.)

...But still I only trust doing that in the code window, just to be sure.

  3. I checked out them links ? Nothing seemed to work? Does anyone have visual webdeveloper 8 and have this problem also selecting more then one text box or whatever and aligning them with the layout tool. I can't even select more then one text box that's my problem.

  4. Problem aligning objects in VWD08

The video I have seen on MS, "Creating a Web Forms User Interface", is using VWD2005, I have just downloaded VWD2008 and cannot get it to work by any methods on the design page.
