Hi Does anybody know how I get my webserver type upgraded from IIS6 to IIS7? Is this an add-on? (can't see it in the list and the home page of discountasp.net seems to indicate that iis7 is part of the standard hosting plan). Sorry to post in the forums - I'd contact support but I don't seem to be able to get them to send me a verification email! Any help appreciated Chris
You can upgrade by going here: https://my.discountasp.net/windows2008-migration.aspx This will migrate your files and update your DNS on our end. Some configurations (such as directories set as applications) may need to be re-configured in the new server. While most applications should work the same on IIS7, but it's always recommended that you test in your local environment.
