Well, I dropped $239 on The Beatles mono box set a little over a year ago (and yes, noticed that the price went down to $129 recently after the iTunes deal was announced - which is funny since you can't get the mono version on iTunes), and it's a thing of visual and sonic beauty. Someone over in Bob Dylan's camp must have been watching, because they just released a box set of his albums that were originally mono. Which I also bought. The Beatles in mono sound completely different, perfect and old school, as it should have always sounded. The Dylan sounds like Dylan has always sounded to me. But I didn't have those early records on CD so it seemed convenient to buy the box. I'm just wondering who's next...Herman's Hermits mono box? And here's a man of science explaining why mono is better.
That "science" video is the whip. Agree...True I think Microsoft tried to push this point with the first release of Silverlight Streaming.
Thanks MJP for introducing me to the MAD sound of MONO! Now, if only Santa can only be a cool cat and bring me my Beatles MONO box! Donations are welcomed to my pay pal account. Just saying
Crackin up. ;-) First I had to go look that word up. I'm guessing it is only used by the Pelosi supporters. //ducking
I don't stray into politics, so I wouldn't know about any kind of supporters. You're just mad because we don't let the residents of Tennessee vote. Oh, my mistake - I've just been told that we do let them vote...we just don't count the votes.
