  1. I have searched the forums, and read the KB articles, and although there are several bits and pieces of information out there on similar matters. I cant seem to fit the bits and pieces together for my situation.

GoDaddy will not allow me access the subdomains unless I am hosted with them.

DASP will not allow me access to subdomains unless my domain name is registered with them.

So currently I have NO subdomains.

I updated my DNS records at GoDaddy to use DASP nameservers (ns1.discountasp.net, ns2, etc.)

I would like to have people be able to type in: http://subdomain.domain.com and have it redirect them to http://domain.com/subdomain

I have read the KB article about redirecting subdomains, and it doesnt seem very complete to me. It doesnt specify WHICH document the code should be placed in, or how it should be placed, or if there is other code that it needs to make it work.

An ASPX/VB.NET example would be VERY helpful.

Alas, I am not even sure if that would work in my situation?

    Thanks!

As long as we are handling your DNS (meaning your domain's name servers point to ns1.discountasp.net and ns2.discountasp.net), you can set up subdomains.

You need the unlimited subdomain add-on. You can order that in Control Panel.
