Error - cannot figure out the issue

I've never posted here...my guess is that nobody reads these posts. But's let's try as support sent me here.

We have a page which throughs an error

There have not been any changes to the site in weeks. This stopped working about 4 days ago.

Thoughts?

 

why would support send you to a place that wouldn't help?

why not publish the global.asax file that works on your dev machine to force a recompile of the site?
