We want to let you know about a network problem that started today around 12:10 PM Pacific Time. For a short time, some sites and services on our platform were slow or could not be reached.

Our network engineers jumped on it quickly, and everything should now be back up and running. We are keeping a close eye on it, and we will share more information as we get it from our staff.

We appreciate your patience while we worked on this.

Resolved: Network Latency Caused by DDoS Attack

    Date:
    October 14, 2026
Duration: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM PT (about 1 hour)
    Status: Resolved

    Summary
On October 14, 2026, between approximately 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM Pacific Time, our network had high latency because of a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. During this time, some customer websites and applications may have been slow or unresponsive.

    Impact
Network performance was degraded for customers in the affected environment. No customer data was accessed or changed. DDoS attacks target the availability of a service, not the data stored on it.

    Root Cause
Our network is protected by a dedicated DDoS mitigation system that automatically detects and blocks this kind of attack. Over the past two years, it has mitigated many attacks without significant impact to customers. In this case, the attack was not mitigated automatically as expected.

    Resolution
Our network engineers identified the attack and mitigated it manually. Service was fully restored by 1:30 PM PT.

    Next Steps
Our engineering team is investigating why the automated protection did not respond as designed. We will make changes based on what we find to strengthen our defenses and help prevent similar incidents. We’ll post an update here when the review is complete.

We apologize for the disruption and thank you for your patience. If you’re still having issues, please contact our support team.
