VS Web Developer 2005

There is most likely some feature in your application that uses SQL Express. Otherwise the application shouldn't try to connect to a SQL Express service. Are you using membership/roles?

Hi, I have created web site using Masterpages. After many
patient hours trying to get it to post tech support tells
me this is not possible because I am using the express version
of the database. I don't use it but guess it's necessary for
use in VWD 2005.

Anyone know a way around this bar purhasing a full data base.
I don't evey use any database in my site.

I started with the personal starter kit. I had some database stuff


in it but I deleted it all. Somehow when I post to the server the


databases are recreated. Maybe I should restart without the starter


kit.
