PROBLEM... I have two domain names: Stable-data.com Stabledatasystems.com I must have the stabledatasystems.com also respond just like stable-data.com for our website and email domains. Network solutions is pointed to the GOOGLE servers for email and my existing unique IP host for my old site. (I am about to launch a DASP hosted website) I want both domain names to be valid for email and web. also, only stable-data.com is listed in my account information. How would I most easily accomplish my goal? Swing all DNS naming to DASP? Point only my web related entries to a UNIQUE IP at DASP? Or use some other method? I need advice on this that reduces costs and ensures I have all this functionality.
Do you still want to use the current email services for your domain names? Or do you want to use the email services with us here at DiscountASP.NET? If you want to use a third party DNS server. I would suggest you take a look at our DNS Manager as a example of what records you will need to change. If you have a unique IP number for the hosting account. Then you can change the A records or records so your domain names resolve to the same site by using the unique IP number associated to your hosting account with us. That would be the easiest way of making the change. If you want to still use the current email service provide you already have with another organization. I will suggest you don't touched your current MX records on your third party DNS and only change your web site records so it resolves to our web server.
