24/7 Support?

  1. Hi all,


    I am new and registered an account with DiscountASP because of the good reviews I read on the net about their services.

    Well, I was hoping to get 24/7 email support (as it is announced on their page) but my ticket remains unanswered for 5 hours now. Even though it is Sunday, I would expect a faster customer support...

    What is your experience?

  2. My experience is they have almost 24/7 support. Their 1st tier guys seem to be there round the clock, but the system administrators (needed for most functions) seem to only be around during normal business hours (normal business hours for Pacific time zone). So, if you have something simple that needs to be done, it's 24/7, anything even remotely complicated and you're waiting for "opening time".

    Jamie is correct.

    We have Tier 1 staff 24X7 but escalation engineers are not 24X7. During weekday, we have close to 16 hours of escalation support.
