2nd Domain

    Having requesting a domain pointer to point a second domain name to my current discountasp account, I've got a couple questions about option setups with my registrar(network solutions)

    My email for this second domain is hosted by a third party, so I want to have the MX record point to their server. However, in order to use the advanced features with network solutions, the DNS servers have to be their servers. So, my question is this.

    Is it correct, or appropriate to just change the A Record to point to the discount asp dns servers so that www.seconddomain.com traffic goes to discountasp and then via the pointer to my discountasp domain root folder? Or am I off the beam here?

    It depends on who you want to manage your DNS.

    If you want us to manage DNS, then point the name servers to us and we can update the MX records for you.

    If you want to manager DNS with NetSol, then point the name servers to them and send our technical support a ticket requesting the settings you need to use our service.
