404 file not found question

Hi asper's

I have a file named OOPS.htm that is used for my http file not found 404; due to so many broken links over the years.

This works fine and this works fine if i type in just some directoryp; however, when i append an .aspx to the end of some made up file name in a made up directoy under my host my. i then get the 404 error again

HOW can i get my oops.htm file to be server up no matter how the url is misstyped under my root app name?

see i thought that when i set it in the control panel that i was setting a overrideble propertys
