Access Error + Database cannot be accessed + Database does exist in correct location

my site www.nintendorepairshop.com is experiencing problems accessing the Access database that I have uploaded via IE to discount.asp's server. The problem:

ADODB.Connection error '800a0e78'

Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

first occured when I uploaded a new copy of my database to the server. Previously the site worked and was able to access the database just fine. I contacted support, who told me that this problem is typically casued by the object not existing. I assume they were speaking of the database itself, but obviously this is not the problem, because I can log into my ftp and see that the database does exist.

I have set up DSN for my Access database, and double checked that my site is directed to the correct DSN name and is set for ODBC. I'm at a complete loss as to what I did wrong. It seems like it is just a permission problem, but I'm sure if that were it support would have just fixed it. My database is located in the correct _database folder by the way. Any ideas?
