this sounds like a configuration error.

The documentation isn't that helpful with regards to setting it up. I managed to get DNN 2.0 working locally with Access.

Apparently Access is the default so it's ready to go out of the box. If you want to use SQL Server you need to change the Default Provider setting in web.config, change the connection string (also in web.config) and create the database on SQL Server (just the database - all tables, etc are created in here when you run for the first time).

My initial problem was with the images not displaying. I installed the codebase in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke. I then moved this to C:\DotNetNuke and it worked perfectly.

Now I've tried uploading to my account and it's not having it. When uploading I also got a load of files that wouldn't copy - I had to do it folder by folder, what a pain!

I want DNN in the root directory as it's going to be the main and only site, but I'm now getting the 'Domain Name "domain.com" Does Not Exist in the Database' error.

    Anyone got any ideas?
