I just recently purchased some software by a company named Trendy, that builds Flash Intros for websites. Here is my dilemma. I created the intro. The intro defaults the filename to end with index.html. My Home page is index.htm. So, thinking I was smart, I changed the index.html filename to intro.html. I then added it to the Default Documents list, and set the intro to redirect to index.htm, but all it does is play the intro over and over. Anyone got any ideas on how to get around this?
it's hard to determine what's wrong w/ the information you provided. i suggest you ask the company you purchased the flash from. Bruce DiscountASP.NET www.DiscountASP.NET
The answer to this question is more or less obvious. ".htm" and ".html" file extensions are basically mean the same thing for "not so smart" computer. Just change the file extension won't work in this case You could simply by naming your home page a different name such as default.htm or index1.html ( if you desire to use index this word so much).
