I have a asp.net 2005 web site. It has an image directory with subfolders in it. I need to add another subfolder and another image to it, but I do not want to add all the program files. I want to keep the application as it is. How can I do this. I want to do it manually. Later I will want to do it thru the application. Any help appreciated Suzanne Haig
I just realized that I have at other places used ftp to do this. I was confused because what I read said you had to copy in the entire application. Can I just do this with ftp?
Yes, of course, the FTP solution works. I guess the restriction holds only for changes to the program which makes sense and even though these directories are part of the app, the image files are really data that is accessed thru the application.
