  1. Hello.

I have developed some reports using MS SQL 2008 Reporting Services, connecting to a Analysis Service Database (data warehouse).

I am aware that DiscountASP.net does not support Analysis Services,
(but I also know that it now support Reporting Services), so I was wondering whether you could give me some alternative that could allow me to deliver these reports to our final users in our site. (I understand this might imply several changes, - probably using "Report Viewer Control" ?? -, but just don't know where/how to start).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.

  2. ...I'm working on a Webcast right now that shows how to create them with Visual Studio.
    Will that help?
    All the best,
    Mark

  3. Mark, Thanks a lot for your reply.
Sure I would like to see your Webcast (don't know how much could really help me with my problem, but at least could give me some ideas) ... when are you expecting to have it ready?, and how could I get to see it?

    Regards.

  4. ...I'm working on it now and hope to have it published within the next two days.
You can't get as fancy with the VS reports but you can serve them as needed.
There are ways to get fancy with the new Silverlight charts but I haven't played with them.

  5. Hello again.

Now, let me rephrase my initial question.
Our clients don't want to pay for the cost of remaking the reports without Analysis Services and, on the other hand, my bosses would prefer not to invest time on changing this, (unless it's really the only and final choice).

Therefore, my question now is: does any of you know about some hosting site that does support MS SQL Analysis and Reporting Services??

    Once again, thanks a lot.
