I have downloaded and installed DotNetLiveHelp. It is a very good help desk chat application, which is fully customizable. So far the only problem I've run into, is configuring the e-mail settings on it. If an operator is not available, the end user is bounced to a 'Leave a Message' page, which theoretically should send me an e-mail with their message. It isn't working and I am 100% sure I have got these settings wrong. Here is a picture of the Mail Settings page. What am I screwing up?
For applications that run on our servers: Try setting the server to 'localhost'. You will not need to use authentication as the application is running on our servers. If the application does not run on our servers: use smtp.your-domain-here.com and use the complete email address as the username and its password Post Edited (Chuck [DASP]) : 11/22/2007 12:22:37 AM GMT
Well I've tried both of those, and neither has worked. I am trying to contact dotnetlivehelp directly and see if they know what I'm doing wrong. If you think of any other suggestions, please let me know!
