asp.net 2.0 client-side validators not working in firefox.

    One of our developers has found that when converting asp.net 1.x application to asp.net 2.0 a new node <xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy"/> will be put your web.config file.

    After removal of this node, the client-side validation in firefox seems to start working again.
