ASP.NET file directories

    I'm new to web programming and have no idea how the file layout should be for this. I created a ASP.NET webapplication in the default folder \webapplication1 and as far as I can tell the form should work (taken from an example) but when I copy/rename to webform1.aspx to index.aspx and place in root it does not work and if if use the url \\mysite.com\webapplication1\webform1.aspx it still does not work?

    So, question is, how do I build this thing to work??
