Our recommendation for you is to

    1) Install the starter kit on your local computer

    2) Copy the files to our server

    3) Create a web application for the starter kit directory

    4) Update the web.config file's database connection property to point to our server

    5) use DTS to migrate the schema to our database

    6) Send us an email to change some of the script mappings for the graphic file.

  3. This is what I want to do too. But I am new at this and not sure of the steps as you laid them out.

I have a classic ASP site on DiscountASP already. I basically want to wrap a modified ASP.NET Portal VBVS starter kit around it. The links from the Portal will go to the classic ASP site.

I am not sure of how to arrange the folders on DiscountASP. It works fine on my local IIS.

So could someone help me sort it out?

    Following Bruce's directions:
Step 1) I did this and modified the starter kit the way I want it.
Step 2) Do I replicate all the folders in the ASPNET portal on the DiscountASP site?
Step 3) Not sure what this is or where to put this web application directory.
Step 4) Ok but what is the address that I point to?
    Step 5) Lost me there!
    Step 6) Ditto!

    Any help would be appreciated
