ASP Page Not Loading Images

    I'm currently testing my ASP pages on a local machine running IIS in XP Pro.

    Everything seems to load fine except that images do not display. I tried following the URL of the image itself and still the image wouldn't load. I verified that I have the correct URL of the image.

    It just say "Downloading..." for a long time and it never loads.

    I also gave permissions to IUSR_<machine> account.

    Just a wild guess.

    Did you have the .gif, .jpg script mapping set to point to ASP.net ISAPI? This is a default setting if you installed the community starter kit.

    yup. that solved it. turned off ZoneAlarm and now it works.

    i need to go back to an earlier version of the firewall.

    Uninstall ZoneAlarm!!!!!
    It´s the latest update that makes Y images not loading

    Someday.. these IDS/ Antivirus software is just going to make your computer not work anymore
