My app uses the aspNetPOP3 component to check for mail and I have been running it for years on the US servers. I have now added a UK server but my code is unable to get connected to the local mail server. Before digging too deep, I guess I should start by asking if the component is actually available on the UK servers?
According to our knowledge base article here: http://support.discountasp.net/KB/a106/advanced-intellect-aspnetpop3-information.aspx It should be installed on our DASP servers. May I ask what kind of error message you are getting? "code is unable to get connected to the local mail server." What mail server are you using? What settings are you using in your code? Don't reveal sensitive information. (I just want to know what mail service you are using)
I emailed support directly and advised it was the license file that was missing. Shortly afterwards it started working ;-)
