Attach Error

I can't seem to attach to a new database. Tech support tells me that I have not properly detached locally. I did with SQL server management studio. What can cause this attach to fail?

Do this:

1. Copy the DB files to a folder on your system other than their current location.
2. Upload them to a folder on your site.
3. Use the attach tool for the files you uploaded.

That's exactly what I did. I get that error to call tech support. They are now telling me they will escalate the problem. In the meain time my site is down. I am working on exporting my database to text files so that way I can bulk insert. I shouldn't have to do this.

Can you think of anything else I can try? I am new to this hosting stuff.

That has always worked for me here but I suppose something could be buggy right now.
I don't however have any info on that but the DASP team is working on a lot of very tough updates for us.

If youneed I'm willing to help you with this, you can ZIP or RAR the DB files with your SQL Server account info to me.
I do this for a lot of accounts here, no charge. [email protected]
(I don't want to see you get stuck like this so I'm just offering one way out.)

Note: I don't keep any copies, there is no need to be concerned about security.
