Salutations, On the morning of Friday 14 November my Dev machine blew-up. The board in the power supply went haywire and spiked through my SLI MB frying just about everything. I have researched my best options and estimate I can rebuild it for about $1,100.00 I've got about $300 and am working on the rest. (I know its pathetic but I'm a stay-at-home Dad with no income.) When I get back-up-and-running I'll update this post. Hi, Takeshi came to my rescue. Woohoo. I should have all the parts the first week of December. Once I do I'll start the installations and SP's...bring on the Espresso. All the best, Mark Wisecarver note: I'm posting this from a friends old PC that I've been working ontoday. It was one of the XP SP3 systems that died in the known reboot over-and-over gdi32 death. (This bug killed thousands of XP systems all over the world recently.) I managed to fix it sothe very least I deserveshould beto use it for this message. hehe P.S. This coming Friday is my 47th Birthday. We can see the San Gabriel mountains from many of the windows here at the office, but we are stuck with white walls. We may have to change that...
