    An EPP key (or authorization code) is used when transferring a domain to a new registrar. That would not come into play when opening an account here. We are not a registrar.

    If we were a registrar, we would be asking you for the EPP key, to authorize a domain transfer. An EPP key is assigned to a domain, not a registrar (or a host).
