Auto Billing for Extra Services

If I were to go over my allotted bandwidth, DB size, etc will the space be automatically allocated with billing to follow? In reviewing the Control Panel, it says that provisioning takes up to 24 hours if requested, but I would hope that there wouldn't be any downtime if usage were to exceed limits.

 

No.

We don't auto-allocate paid resources to avoid increasing a user's fees without their knowledge.

Having said that, we also do not automatically stop any service that exceeds quotas. We contact the user and let them know what's going on, and what their options are.

So there is not normally an interruption in service due to overages. If we try to contact someone regarding overages and they do not respond, then there's a possibility that a service could eventually be suspended. But that doesn't happen very often.
