Backup and Restore

    Do I need to backup my site and database? I read that Discount ASP has nightly backups. if this is the case, does anyone know what the process for restoring my database and site is?

    The customer is responsible for backing up their own site and data. Our backups are for disaster recovery purposes.

    We can look in our backups for customer restores, but there is a $15 service fee.

    Does anyone have a good recomendation for a good DotNetNuke module that will backup and restore a DNN4 site?

    i don't think there's such a module.

    DNN basically stored the information in the database. I would recommend you download a copy of your website and then periodically pull the SQL data to your local server.
