backup of mysql dbase?

    I'm trying to backup my mysql dbase using sqlyog. I get an "Access denied; you need the FILE privilege for this operation" message. What is the prescribe method for backing up a mysql dbase?

    I tried to export the database as sql statements, but get "Access denied; you need the RELOAD privilege for this operation" message.

    You do not have privilage to perform database backup.


    We do, however, backup your database on a nightly basis.
