BCP Error

    After months without a hitch, multiple automated BCP processes importing different delimited text files starting failing this afternoon.

    Here's a sample command:

    bcp SQL2008R2_831865_ftt.dbo.tblLPSASAP in "T:\FTT\Temp\LPSASAP.txt" -S tcp:sql2k805.discountasp.net -U SQL2008R2_831865_ftt_user -P ******* -e "T:\FTT\Temp\LPSASAPImportErrors.txt" -q -c -t \t -F 2 -m 100

    BCP copy in failed

    SQL NativeError 10054 means that the import file doesn't match the table definition, but I doubled check and the data files match up perfectly. Help!!

    You may try checking the connection, to see if there are latency, at the time of the error. There are no changes on our server except for Microsoft's monthly OS updates. If the connection is fine, try lower the batch size by using the parameter -bxxx (xxx number less then 1000). You also want to see that you have the latest Native client and your client PC has the latest updates if its an windows OS
