begginer needs help getting started

    A webdeveloper friend of mine did all the technical stuff for my website. I have a little bit of programming experience (Actionscripting, MEL) and figured I'd be able to update the site myself only I don't know where to start on this site. I can't even get my files from asp.net. Can anyone suggest some forum topics/ webistes to teach me how to use this site? Does anyone know of a free program liike Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express for Macs?

    i am not sure if there's anything like VWD Express for MAC. You can, assuming the site is not precompiled, modify the code using any any text editor.
